Welcome to the Fighting 46th!

The Legislative District Caucus, May 1st 2004

Wow, what a day! Over a thousand Delgates and Alternates showed up to listen to speeches, elect delegates to the next level and work on the Platform. Here are some pictures of this historic event.

Tom Savage shows how nice a day it was. Democrats came from all over the district, foregoing the sun to help push the democratic process forward.
We were at Ingraham High School, and we pretty much took over the entire school for the day. John LaLonde shows off his Dean gear with a bunch of candidate signs in the background.
Pat Emerson, Patty Whistler and Chad Lupkes served as greeters for VIPs.
Janet Miller and the credentials board prepared the reports so we could finish quickly and get out in the sun.
Registration tables were set up early and ready for the flood of people.
Gayatri Eassey and the Young Democrats of Washington provided food and drink as a fundraiser.
We completely packed the auditorium. You should have heard the roar when Jim McDermott, one of our congressional representatives, took the stage.
Scott White, Chair of the 46th, is flanked by Jan Ames, David McDonald and Jamie Corning.
David McDonald is a parlimentarian extraordinare!
We had a HUGE number of delegates signing up for elections to the State and Congressional District level. Everyone wanted to be part of the process and have a chance at going to Boston.
We can't forget Membership! Our membership table was 'supposed' to be relaxed duty for Norma Miller (PCO 2319) and John McSweeney (PCO
2229). NOT! They were swamped with new people joining the Party.
Our newsletter is online, and people could sign up for electronic delivery.
We had a list of Precincts that needed a Precinct Committee Officer.
