Every two years after the November Elections for Congress and the Washington State Legislature, the Democratic Party goes through a Reorganization process. The PCO's who are elected in the August Primary meet to elect officers at the County and Legislative District level, including representatives to the Washington State Democratic Central Committee who meet from around the state at the end of January to elect the State Party Officers.
As a PCO, your participation in this process is essential!
The King County Democrats will hold a Reorganization Meeting on Saturday, December 6th, starting at 9:00 a.m. This meeting will be held at the Aerospace Machinists Industrial District Lodge 751, 9125 15th Place South in Seattle. All PCO's are encouraged to attend as we set the stage for the next two years!
46th District Reorganization
The King County Chair will conduct the reorganization of the 46th District Democrats on our next regular scheduled membership meeting on January 15th, 2009. The location will be Olympic View Elementary School, NE 95th St. & 8th Ave. NE. All PCO's and Members are encouraged to attend!
We need more than your votes at this meeting!
What stories do you have from the 2007-2008 election season? What lessons have we learned, and what can we do better? Bring your ideas and your energy, and run for a position on the Executive Board!
