Elections Committee

The Elections Committee is responsible for tracking our operations before, during and after elections, watching our progress and recommending improvements. We work with campaigns within our districts, manage our endorsements and publish our Voters Guide.

Scope of work:

• Review current/ recommend changes in Endorsement Rules/Procedures
• Coordination w/King Co. Democrats/Wash State Democrats
• Contribution guidelines & recommendations
• Voters Guide
• Investigate proposals for candidate interviews
• Candidate Forums/Debates
• Establish Elections calendar
• Analysis of past election practices (including district specific and Coordinated Campaign)
• Analysis of election results within the district (pct x pct)
• Analysis of Caucus cycle efforts and recommendations for future cycles (as well as proposals to send to State and County Committees)
• Occasional articles for Demogram covering results or analysis, recommendations for changes, etc.
