In Washington State, PCO's are your neighbors, and are elected by you every two years to represent your views to the Legislative District organization, the County and the State Party. PCO's are responsible for:
Conducting a precinct caucus in the spring of an even-numbered year
Making recommendations for the appointment of poll workers for the precinct
Doorbelling with campaign material for endorsed candidates prior to each primary and general election
The 46th Legislative District contains 221 of the 2,555 Precincts in King County, and we're proud to have PCO's in most of them. But we still need your help. Here is what you can do:
Please check our PCO List and find out if your precinct is covered. If it is, contact Bernadette Laqueur to get the contact information for your PCO, and find out what you can do to help them.
If your precinct is empty, and you are interested in filling the position, please
download the PCO Signature Form. Hand the form
in to the Membership Committee before the next meeting, and we'll go through
the approval vote.
