Second Resolution concerning City of Seattle’s Code of Ethics:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 46th District Democrats support the existing Code of Ethics (SMC 4.16) and call on Seattle City Council to reject the proposed legislative changes to relax the existing Code of Ethics for advisory committee members.

Concerning City of Seattle Charter Amendment No. 3:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 46th District Democrats support proposed City Charter Amendment no. 3 requiring reconfirmation of all city department heads named in the City Charter (excepting the City Librarian) by Seattle City Council.

Concerning the KCDCC Candidate Questionnaire:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 46th District Democrats call on the King County Democratic Central Committee to develop candidate questionnaires that include substantive policy questions specifically related to individual offices, including Federal offices.
